• LLC: 8:43 a.m. – 4:15 p.m. daily
• Before and after school access: The library is open to students 10 minutes before school and 25 minutes after school for book checkout, technology support and general questions.
• Students can also travel to the library on Advisement Travel Days for quiet study. Please get a pass ahead of time from your DTL, Ms. Nickoloff.

Having issues with your Chromebook? Complete the following Chromebook Troubleshooting steps:

• Restart Chromebook
• Charge Chromebook
• Verify Wifi Connection
  • While at school, the Chromebook should be on the “Jeffco-Internal” network.
• Clear Browsing Data 
  • In Google Chrome, select the three dots in the top right, choose “Delete Browsing Data”, select time range of “All Time” on both tabs.
• Reset Chromebook
• Complete the KCMS Chromebook Help Form.

The KCMS Library provides access to many databases for student and teacher use through the Jeffco Public Library (JCPL). All databases require a JCPL card for access. 

We are not accepting 3D print requests at this time. 

Ken Caryl’s library offers printing and publishing for assignments, 3D printing, assistance with school projects, reading suggestions, magazines and graphic novels, peer tutoring, research support, works cited pages, technology access and assistance, e-books, audiobooks, tech to check out (iPads, Chromebooks, laptops, cameras, green screens and podcasting equipment), Maker Space materials and so much more. If you need to print a document for school, see Ms. Nickoloff or Ms. Dirmish for assistance. 

The library has many donated supplies available to students in need. From backpacks to pens, the library has all the supplies a KCMS student might need.

• Library Club : Student leaders will plan fun library events throughout the year.
• Summer Reading Party: All students that participated in the Summer Reading Program will be invited to a party during Advisement. (September)
• Scholastic Book Fair: Support our school and promote literacy by purchasing books at our book fair. (September)
• KCMS Art Expo: Student artwork will be on display in the LLC for all to enjoy. (October)
• Bookmark Contest: Students will design bookmarks for the school. (November)
• Hour of Code: Students will write program code during Computer Science Education Week! (December)
• Spring Break Reading Challenge: Read over spring break and be entered into a raffle for fabulous prizes (March).
• Battle of the Books: Read six books and form teams to compete against one another to win big! (April)
• Birthday Books: All KCMS students receive a free Scholastic book on their birthday!
