Academic Support
All Ken Caryl Middle School (KCMS) students have individual strengths, challenges, hopes and dreams. Education must be tailored to each student's learning experience.
Multi-tiered Systems of Support
Multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) allow the school staff to respond effectively to students’ academic and behavioral needs. The KCMS leadership team will closely monitor academic and behavioral data to help ensure they are reaching all students. Parents who have concerns can partner with grade-level counselors for their child’s educational support.
Advisement
Advisement is time for additional academic support. It is built into our schedule every day of the school week from 3:33 p.m. to 4:05 p.m. Students can make up tests and get homework help during this time.
