Enrollment & Registration Information
Enroll for the 2026-27 School Year
Round 1 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year was open December 2-January 9. Families who enrolled during Round 1 of EnrollJeffco received their results on January 20. Families can also enroll for the 2026-27 school year during Round 2 enrollment, open now through Friday, August 28. All families, including those new to Jeffco and those returning to the same school, should complete enrollment.
Enrollment Timeline for the 2026-27 School Year
- December 2, 2025: Round 1 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens
- January 9, 2026: Round 1 enrollment window for the 2026-27 school year closes
- January 15, 2026: Round 2 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year opens
- January 20, 2026: Round 1 enrollment results sent to families
- August 28, 2026: Round 2 enrollment for the 2026-27 school year closes
Enroll at Ken Caryl Middle School
Get more information about attending Ken Caryl Middle School.
- Use EnrollJeffco to submit enrollment requests. This includes registration for all returning students and students who are new to the neighborhood or wish to change learning environments.
- Any family wishing to enroll for the school year must apply through EnrollJeffco.
- Visit Jeffco Enrollment and Registration for answers to questions about choice enrollment or for support with EnrollJeffco.
- To enroll from September through May, contact the enrollment secretary.

Hello new Spartans!
Please find your student's grade level registration card below. Email the completed card to your student's 2024-25 school counselor. We ask that the card be returned within two weeks of accepting your Enroll Jeffco offer.

Students who want to take an advanced math course next year (see below) must take a placement test on Saturday, April 6th at 9:00am. Students should bring their Jeffco Tech for Ed device and a pencil.
Advanced math courses offered at Ken Caryl are:
- Accelerated 6
- Accelerated 7
- Algebra I
- Geometry
*All courses listed above, are 1+ years advanced for grade level
To help determine which test to take we encourage families to have a conversation with their student’s current math teacher.
For incoming 6th graders, we will be offering an optional middle school transition day. If you would like more information about the Spartan Summit, please watch the KCMS homepage under Recent News. Information will be posted later this spring.
